On the way to Champagne, we drove for four hours without stopping. By the time we arrived, we were tired, and the journey had not been particularly enjoyable. The return journey was around 600 kilometres, so we decided to take several breaks along the way. One of those stops led us to Dinant, a beautiful town we had not planned to visit. Instead of six hours, the journey took ten, but it was much more enjoyable. Sometimes, arriving later gives us more time to enjoy the journey. Tags |
