Jamel Armand's paintings are soulful, intimate, and rich with spirit. Rooted in his Indonesian heritage, his work honours communities often overlooked, celebrating their strength, beauty, and resilience. Half Song is about the space between the finished and the unfinished. Figures that emerge through layers of colour, texture, and repeated gesture. Powerful and quiet at the same time. Something that stays with you.

The Gallery is open by appointment, send us an email if you would like to come by and see specific works in person. Looking for the perfect piece to finish your home? Bisou also offers personal art advice and curation, from a single work to a complete collection. Just reach out, we'd love to help.
