October 6 - Stationery Club + Sticker Night
The Mercantile Library will host Stationery Club next Tuesday, October 6 — a departure from our usual Thursday meetings, as BLINK takes over downtown for the latter half of that week. We will have a sticker theme for the event, so bring your favorite stickers, spooky stickers, and sticker stories to share throughout the evening. The club meets from 4-7PM, but you’re welcome to drop in and out during that span whenever’s convenient for you. Register soon to save yourself a seat!
October’s event will also feature workshop previews from The Sticker Shop’s Amy Webb, starting at 5:30PM. This fall and winter, The Sticker Shop will run in-person workshops on fountain pens / improving handwriting, hand lettering your holiday envelopes, bullet journaling, brush calligraphy, and mindful lettering and doodling. They have a charming location on Springfield Pike, where the store offers a unique selection of vintage stationery, imported stickers, and other novelties a lot of our members will appreciate.
