"True friends are like stars. You can only recognise them when it’s dark around you."-Bob Marley There are family, coworkers, acquaintances, friends, and best friends. When I was younger, I often wondered if it was possible to have many truly good friends. Over time, I learned that knowing many people is not the same as having many friends. As I grow older, I see that real friendship is not only about shared laughter or good times. It is about the people who stay during the quiet, dull, even difficult moments. The ones who sit with you when there is nothing exciting to gain. Just like stars, it is not about how often you see them. It is about knowing they are there when the sky turns dark. Stop for a moment. Think of a good friend. Reach out and tell them thank you. Tags#Friendship #Gratitude |
