Everyday Mediterranean
Last night my family and I got back from a lovely Mediterranean break (in one of the Spanish bits). I think of it as an early start to our summer. It was also a chance for us all to step away and breath differently scented air, stand in line at a different bakery, deciphere a different bus route, being a bit bored but under a palm tree, doing dishes with a funny looking sponge... All of the things that are someone else's everyday life. I am grateful we momentarily got to step in to it. And it was of course fab to get back home too (after a cancelled flight, re-bookings etc) and start typing up this note.
⛶ Near-ish to where we stayed, captures the spirit of the week nicely.
