Sneeze. Cough. Read.
Down and out with a cold. Lots of time to read. UK's Booksellers Association publish a fab free print magazine called Booktime. I came across it in Edinburgh in 2024 and ever since then... well, I've been addicted to it. Superb recommendations and writing that conveys the joy of reading. Plus it's printed on great paper stock. Most indie booksellers in the UK carry it, and it's also available at gems like ⚲ The English Bookshop in Stockholm, Librairie Jean Jaures in Nice and other best-bookshop-in-the-world places.
I'm going all Slough House at the moment, reading ⫘ Mick Herron's novels in random order while also watching Slow Horses on Apple TV. It's as good a medicine as any. Tracks ▷ Carry on by Jungle ▷ I know you're hurting by RAYE (Links work with
