Week 24. Patience in the Waiting

Jun 14, 2026

“Patience is not simply the ability to wait, it's how we behave while we're waiting.”

- Joyce Meyer

What Patience Really Means

Patience is a difficult one. Recently, I found myself losing it. I could not see the end of the tunnel, and I felt overwhelmed by a situation that seemed outside my control.

That is why this quote resonated with me. Patience is not simply waiting for things to get better. It is about how we act while things are uncertain. Do we stay calm? Do we keep moving forward? Or do we let frustration take over?

That is much easier said than done. Whether we are waiting for a job opportunity, a personal goal, or a change we want to see, the temptation is often to become frustrated or give up.

Patience is not passive. It requires discipline and self-control. It is a reminder that many worthwhile things take time, and that our attitude during the journey matters as much as the outcome.

Patience may not move mountains on its own, but it often helps us achieve things that would be impossible if we quit too soon.

Patience is easier when shared. If you enjoyed this quote, forward it to someone who might appreciate it.
