Did you know smoking is making a comeback? Tbh I kinda get it. It's more social than social media and probably healthier too these days. I'm not saying smoking is healthy, don't cancel me yet. I'm just saying... 15 years ago, the internet was an escape from the real world. Now, the real world is an escape from the internet.

Ok, this is going to be one hell of a random newsletter.

Anyway, the kids are back to school and parents seem to be coming to terms with the obliged structure that comes with participating in this society.

Which reminds me about this album Modern Life from German composer Ralph Heidel. It's mesmerising and complex. Modern generally means something that belongs to the newer times, is contemporary, and is often characterised by renewal and a break from the past. But I'm not sure if it really exists. Any basic history lesson shows it's just the same shit, different day.

Maybe I'm just slow in coming to terms with being "middle aged" hahaha. Or maybe it's because humans (Ok, men in particular) still behave like it's the Middle Ages. To whom can boys look up these days? Who's talking any sense? All I know is that principles must be embodied and practiced. That’s the only communication that matters. Don't get me wrong, I'm still an optimist. There's hopeful folks like Zohran Mamdani and we can always turn to Keanu Reeves to model kindness, authenticity and grace.

Let's bring it back to what you're supposedly expecting from me. (?!) You can now launch agents directly from Linear. We use it a lot in building Boomerang 🪃 . We recently increased the total upload limit from 1 to 3 gigabytes and won't stop there. It's super overwhelming (in a good way) how people have embraced the new simple file-sharing service since we shipped our Beta earlier this month. So much fun to reconnect with the creative community and hear their insights on how we can make file-sharing great again. If the dot zip domain wasn't marked as dodgy by the internet overloards, I would have sent you there immediately. Instead, I just have to trust you can get there by yo'self.

Wie niet speelt staat stil zeggen ze wel eens, or play is the highest form of research. Either way, I'm committed to keep playing and launch many more tools that are useful and fun. The (Rumi)cat is out of the bag, Boomerang is flying, so what's next? What would you like to see become a reality? How can software help you, specifically?
